Description:
Carved wooden cane, made of rosewood, with a substantially sized head of an American Bison at the knuckle. The great artistic interpretation has wonderful folk qualities. The handle and shaft are expertly polished and the weight is very heavy. The head and handle are separate pieces of wood, carefully joined. Made ca 1940. Found in Upstate, New York.
