Amish quilt in the sunshine & shadows pattern, purchased at an Amish estate in the tiny town of Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania in Lancaster County. Made circa 1930-1940. Minor bleeding. Exhibits the wide binding and patterned calico back so typical of Lancaster, Pennsylvania Amish quilts. Never washed. |
