"HAND OF GOD" BANNERETTE WEATHERVANE, L. W. CUSHING & SONS, WALTHAM, MASSACHUSETTS, ca 1880:
Rare bannerette weathervane with the pointing "Hand of God", made by L.W. Cushing & Sons of Waltham, Massachuestts, as shown in their 1883 catalogue. Copper with cast zinc hand, in the best, dry, verdigris patina.
Condition: One bullet hole in its "cuff". Undetectable professional restoration to the finial.
Mount: Comes with a standing mount or a wall mount. |
