Dimensions (inches): |
Frame - 12" x 9" |
Description: |
|
White, heavy, paper cups, printed in red, with text that reads “Coffee with Kennedy.” Made for the 1960 election, these cups were distributed by the Democrat National Committee as part of a campaign to get potential voters to watch a new, morning TV show called “Coffee with Senator and Mrs. Kennedy.”
An example of one of these cups resides in the collection of the Smithsonian Museum of American History. I also know it to exist with variant text that reads "Coffee with the Kennedy's."
Mounting: The cups are presented in a custom-made, mahogany molding, painted in satin black. The glazing is U.V. protective, museum (non-glare, scratch-resistant) plexiglas. Feel free to contact us for more details. |
