CARVED ADIRONDACK WALL PLAQUE WITH DOG: "BILL'S PUP"
Found alomg the Upstate New York - Pennsylvania border, this relief-carved, wooden wall plaque is typical of rural Adirondack and Appalachain folk art. It shows "Bill's Pup" with its head and torso deep in a hollow log, on the trail of a rabbit that has since moved on and is teasingly looking back. Circa 1890-1930.
