| BENCH WITH SPLAYED, BUTTERFLY CUT, BOOTJACK LEGS AND OLIVE GREEN PAINT, CA 1885:
This classic Pennsylvania water bench has excellent early paint and beautiful form. The olive green surface has beautiful patina. Long and narrow, the particularly attractive profile is due in part to the butterfly-shaped, bootjack feet, which have a slight splay, and a wide skirt on both sides that terminates in a pleasant ogee scallop at both ends. the . Made ca 1885.
Condition: Excellent. Very sturdy. |
